Man-A-Mile - Monday, October 8, 2012

This event started early on a crisp fall day. The sun peaked out and it stayed dry. Thank you Mother Nature. There were 6 relay teams participating this year's 22.4 km run.

Niagara Slo Pitch

Glad to know the day of the mini tornado was something I have never experienced before.  Thank goodness everyone was safe and nobody was seriously injured.

 

Enjoyed meeting some of the players and umpires at the slo-pitch tournaments, hope to see everyone again next year.

 

 

Busket Fest August 23, 24, 25, 26

Buskerfest is great, 4 long day event. There is a variety of various vendors and live entertainment. The Friday fire show is amazing.  This is a wonderful fundraiser for the Epilepsy society and we wish them continued success to bring awareness and accomplish a cure someday.

Nation Slo Pitch

This event took place in Niagara Falls on Augsut 3, 4, 5 and 6th. We have done this event for several years, so it is alway great to see old friends and make some new ones as well. We enjoy seeing teams from all over the country. Some of the umpires are very comical!

Jamaica Independence Day

On July 27 and 28 we attended a celebration of Jamaica's Independence. The music was great and mother nature co-operated this year. It was great that everyone wanted to have a great time and were very friendly.
